How much does a Web site cost?

We custom quote each web site project because each of our customers needs are different. A basic site may cost less than $300.00 while a more complex e-commerce site may cost $1,000-$5,000 or up.

What about Payments and Contracts?

TrayBrook Designs asks for the standard 50% total Design cost up front and quarter of hosting (if we are hosting your site) before we start on your site, The remainder is due upon competition. TrayBrook Designs excepts Cash, Money Orders, Local Checks, Visa, Master Card and American Express.

TrayBrook Designs ask that its clients sign a contract before starting on their site. This contract protects both TrayBrook Designs and you, the client.

 

Does my Web site designer need to be local?

No! By using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in any location.

How long does it take to have a Web site designed?

The time frame is determined by the size and complexity of your web site along with the ability to receive the information needed for your site. Most sites can be developed within 2 - 6 weeks.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose to identify your web site online by. Our domain name is "www.traybrookdesigns.com".

My Web site is currently hosted through another web site designer and I would like to switch over to TrayBrook Designs. How do I do this?

Just contact us and let us know that you wish to transfer your account to TrayBrook Designs and we will take care of the entire process.

Does TrayBrook Designs have to host my site?

No. You can host it anywhere you wish. We prefer to provide the hosting for your web site because it makes it easier to manage and we have relationships with the hosting companies and can resolve issues quicker than with a hosting company with whom we are not familiar.

What is Web hosting?

Web site hosting is required for your web site to be accessible on the Internet. A hosting company maintains the computers where your files are stored, they help to ensure your site is up and running. Hosting companies also possess the communication equipment to ensure fast access to your site so that your pages load quickly. Hosting is based on a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. We do provide web hosting for our clients.

How much does Hosting cost?

There are many companies that offer Web hosting for a small fee however, as the old saying goes..."You get what you pay for".  Our prices start as low as $10.00 and up to $60.00 a month. We ask that you pay quarterly or yearly for this service.

What is Web site maintenance?

Maintenance is the process of updating a web site once the initial design phase has been completed. We have hourly, quarterly and Yearly maintenance plans. Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back.

My Web site is not getting any traffic, what can I do?

We offer a variety of marketing services ranging from basic search engine submission to reciprocal link exchanges and site content evaluations. All of these services can help to increase the traffic to your site, thus increasing the chances that business will be derived from that increased traffic.
